Canton Chiefs Cheerleading

Where: Compuware Arena on 5 mile and Beck

What: Girls walk in groups of three selling hockey pucks to fans who throw them on the ice at the appropriate time in an effort to win prizes from the Whalers.

When: Saturday January 2, 2010; girls need to arrive by 5:45 (in uniform) to set up and get organized--should be done by 8:30.

All girls/coaches will be given ONE admission ticket to enter the event. If parents want to purchase additional tickets they are $9 each. Please contact me at carriers@comcast.net if you would like to purchase additional tickets.

Pucks are sold at $1 each and Canton Cheer earns all the money minus the initial outlay of tickets purchased for the girls. This is a holiday weekend and likely to be a sold out game therefore we need all the girls support to meet this goal. 

Tickets wil be distributed to the girls during practice the week on December 27th. This is a mandatory fundraiser to help support our cheer team plus its a fun social event for the girls. If you are unable to participate you will need to speak to Coach Allison.

Saturday Night – January 9^th

The bowling fund-raiser's objective is make

money for the Canton sports that participate.

Participating Sports include: 

►CHEERLEADING  ► Girls Basketball  ►Boy’s Basketball

► Girls Softball ►Girls Lacrosse  ► Athletics

There are a total of 60 lanes.... 6 bowlers max per lane. That totals 360 tickets.

THIS IS A NIGHT OUT FOR ADULTS ONLY !!!

at SUPERBOWL ON FORD RD.

The tickets are $20

($5 to the bowling alley and $15 comes back to the 6 sports teams listed above and
we’ll then receive a percentage of the proceeds based on the number of tickets our cheer team has sold.  We’ll then divide that

By cheerleader, based on the number of bowlers each cheerleader had.

A great way to offset your final cheer payment that is due in January! 

The more tickets/bowlers you bring – the more $$ you and our organization will make!

NON-BOWLING TICKETS ARE $15 (nothing goes to alley) for those guests
who’d like to support our organization and come out for a fun night but don’t want to bowl. (see 2^nd attachment)

This $20 fee will include 2 games of no-tap bowling and shoe rental.

There will be a lot of excitement going on.

Deadline for registering and submitting your payment for bowling is December 15^th!

We will have Gift baskets to bid on, Raffle prizes,

50/50, Mystery game, Lucky strike and a DJ that plays great music !!!

Everyone must check-in at the bowling room !

Check-in will start at 9:15 PM  and bowling will begin at 10:00 PM.

This is a great parent's night out that you will look forward to every Year !!!

In order for this to be a complete success, we will need 4 Parent Volunteers from Cheerleading (2 from JV and 2 from Varsity)

to sell tickets (50/50 – raffle, etc. the night of the event  for about an hour before the bowling begins .)

Canton Cheerleading must provide 2 raffle prizes and 1 raffle basket
We’ve decided our raffle basket will be a “gift card” basket and each

Cheerleader is expected to donate $5 to cover the cost to purchase the gift cards.

Please submit your $5 to your coach before January 4^th.

We will definitely need the parents to come forward with donations for our silent auction and

raffles.  Perhaps your hair stylist, your dog’s groomer, your favorite restaurant is willing

to donate a gift certificate.  It is a great marketing tool for many establishments and

a great way for them to generate new business. 

We also need larger “little nicer” items (sporting event tickets, etc.) that people would want to bid on in the silent auction.
